South Cheshire Chamber Business Awards – Terms of Entry (2025)

Membership Requirement

Except for the categories of Ambassador of the Year and International Trader of the Year, all entries must be from South Cheshire Chamber members or businesses using the Chamber’s export document services.

Non-Member Entries

Non-members may enter Ambassador of the Year and International Trader of the Year if they meet the specific entry criteria outlined in the relevant category form. Non-members are not eligible for any other award categories.

Submission Process

Entries must be submitted electronically via the South Cheshire Chamber website. No other submission methods will be accepted.
If you require accessibility support or assistance with the online form, please contact the Chamber before the deadline.
Supporting materials (e.g., testimonials, brochures, press cuttings, business plans) may be uploaded if relevant to your category. Please ensure these are concise and directly related to your entry to assist the judging panel.

Multiple Entries

Organisations may enter multiple categories. Each entry will be judged independently by separate judging panels.

Partial Entries

You may save partial entries and return to complete them later. A unique link to your saved entry will be provided when you save your progress.

Material Return

Entries and supporting materials will not be returned.

Judging Decision

All judges' decisions are final. No correspondence will be entered into regarding the outcome outside the formal judging process.

Entry Deadline

Entries must be submitted by Friday, 19th September 2025 at 17:00 PM. Late entries will not be accepted.
You will receive an email confirmation upon successful submission. If you do not receive a confirmation, contact the Chamber immediately.
All entries will be treated confidentially. Judges will sign a confidentiality agreement.

Judging Stages

Initial Judging: A desktop review will take place between Friday, 19th September and Monday, 29th September 2025.
Notification: Entrants will be informed of their competition status by Monda,y 29th September 2025.
Final Judging: Takes place between Monday, 29th September and Monday, 27th October 2025. Finalists should ensure key personnel are available during this period for potential site visits or interviews.

Awards Ceremony

Each finalist organisation will receive one complimentary ticket to the Business Awards Ceremony*. Additional tickets will be available for purchase, subject to availability.
Winners will be announced at the ceremony on Friday, 14th November 2025.
Finalists and winners agree to participate in reasonable post-event publicity, which may include press releases, Chamber communications, and media appearances.

Financial Information

Financial data will only be requested where relevant to a specific category. All judging panels include external experts and are bound by confidentiality agreements.

Apprentice of the Year

Finalists in the Apprentice of the Year category will receive two complimentary tickets for the Business Awards Ceremony.

Code of Conduct

All entrants are expected to uphold the values of fairness, respect, and professionalism. Any entry found to misrepresent information or breach these principles may be disqualified at the Chamber's discretion.
