Representation

A key part of our role as a Chamber of Commerce is to be the voice of the South Cheshire business community

We represent the views and priorities of our members to the government and key decision makers to ensure that they are considered in all decisions that have an impact on our local economy. By providing a united voice, we aim to stimulate growth in the area and support the continued success of our members.

We represent our members amongst the following organisations:

British Chambers of Commerce Northern Assembly
Cheshire Business Group
Cheshire Chambers  of Commerce
Cheshire East Business Forum
Cheshire East Leaders Board
Cheshire & Warrington LEP Employer & Skills Board
Cheshire & Warrington LEP
Cheshire East Economic Development
Crewe Cultural Forum
Crewe Heritage Working Group
Crewe & Nantwich Pledge
Crewe Town Council
Crewe Town Board
Crewe Town Board Transport Forum
MPs (local)
Nantwich Town Council
Northern Chambers (including International Trade)

Quarterly economic survey (QES)

We also conduct a QES which is an independent business survey whereby the results inform us of the views and concerns of our members. We present this data to government and council members and lobby for strategies and policies that will best reflect the will of our members and promote economic growth in the area. We aim to ensure that your voice is heard by those who are able to make a difference.

On a national scale, our QES forms a part of the British Chamber of Commerce’s QES which is the largest and most representative business survey in the UK and is a significant economic indicator. By becoming a member of SCCCI, you can have your say and add to the collective voice of The Chamber when lobbying for change in South Cheshire.
