We're here for you from the moment you're diagnosed with a life-changing or life-limiting illlness.

Since 1988, St Luke's Hospice has been providing care and support to local people, so whether you come to us for symptom control, end of life care or complimentary therapies, you will be coming to a warm and welcoming space, full of positivity with professionals who will support your individual needs.

Our family support and counselling teams are always on hand to offer advise and we've just launched our Hospice at Home service which allows us to care for patients in their own homes, providing respite to their family members and carers. We also host twice-weekly clinics with The Christie to save patients venturing in to Manchester for their treatments and our 24/7 helpline is available to our most vulnerable pateints. Plus, there are no set visiting hours at the Hospice – so family and friends afre welcome to see their loved ones whenever is most convinient. 

All of our services are provided free of charge to our patients and families – but as we receive just 15% of our funding from the Government, we have to rely on the kindness of local people and local businesses to generate the rest – an eye-watering £3M!

We raise funds via our charity shops, our events programme, our regular giving schemes and our weekly prize lottery.
